datboycoot also know as Coot, is a North Carolina based hip-hop producer. Born in 1992, Coot has been producing music since age 9. Coot's music is heavily inspired by 90s golden era hop-hop, southern hip-hop and west coast hip-hop. He's also inspired by jazz, R&B, soul, gospel, rock, electronic, and classical music genres. His major influences are among the likes of 9th Wonder, J Dilla, Madlib, The Alchemist, Nottz, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Timbaland, Dr. Dre and so many more.
